Panaji, Nov 13: Shantaram Naik MP and All India Congress Committee secretary addressing the Congresspersons here after burning of an effigy of K Sudarshan, former chief of RSS said that the nexus between the charges made by Congress against BJP president Nitin Gadkari’s benami ownership  of  a flat in Adarsh Society in Mumbai and Sudarshan’s most vulgar statement,  against Congress president Sonia Gandhi, needs to be probed.

Congresspersons led by Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) president gathered in front of the Congress office here. Naik said that it is well known that Gadkari is the RSS nominee in BJP or rather he is on deputation from RSS to BJP and, in these circumstances, Sudarshan has come to the aid of tainted Gadkari, and possibly, at the instance of Gadkari, he said.

Naik said that Sudarshan’s statement in the background of RSS leaders being named in Ajmer bomb blast case also needs to be inquired into. He said that Gadkari himself has recently started using harsh language against Congress president, and therefore, it is possible that he has engaged the services of K Sudarshan for using more harsher language which he himself cannot do as president of BJP.

Instead of merely contending themselves that they do not agree with the statement,  how is that RSS, which claims to be the most disciplinary outfit in India has not taken disciplinary action against its former chief, Naik questioned.

GPCC president Subhash Shirodker said that what Sudarshan said is a product of RSS thinking and the same needs to be strongly condemned. Right thinking people of this country will never tolerate this type of low level political stunts, he said.

Altinho Gomes, GPCC secretary said that one does not understand as to from which cultural fabric Sudarshan belongs.

The president of Goa Pradesh Mahila Congress Monica Dias said that as a Indian woman she feels that entire country must condemn what Sudarshan said about Congress president.

Vice-president of Goa Pradesh Youth Congress Dilip Dhargal said Sudarshan does not appear to acquainted with Indian culture.

    Sycophancy of Congress at its peak. It provoked BJP and RSS. What do you expect in turn ?. Congress leaders are pathetic. They have lost moral right to rule the country after so many scams. 2G Scam, Bofors Scam, Adarsh Scam, Quattrocchi Scam. List is endless.

    With such amount of disunity among Hindus, how the mass of Hindus are going to support RSS or BJP or evn vote for them. Congress is seeing to the fact that they remain disunited permanently. The only person who has both vision and sense of unity of Hindus and is in the interest of India is Narendra Nodi. but will he be allowed to rule even Gujarat till the next election is a moot question.
