Mangaluru: Inter-class football tourney held by College of Aviation Studies

Mangaluru, Nov 14: As a part of outdoor sports event, College of Aviation Studies, organized an inter-class football match for men of BBA (Aviation Management) / BBA (Aviation and Logistics Management) / BBA (Aviation, Travel and Tourism Management)/ BTech (Aircraft Maintenance Engineering) Students.

The match was conducted in order to explore the sportsmanship which was necessary to build confidence and team spirit among the students. The match was held between ten teams.

The players from Second Year BBA (Aviation and Logistics Management) were the winners of the match and first year BBA (Aviation Management) players were the Runners. The winners team was headed by Safwan (Captain); and the other players of the team were Sahin, Riza, Soorya Sagar, Yadhu, Mizbahul Haq, Abnan Afras, Afsal, Hisham, Swaraj, Moideen Bathisha and Akash.

The runners-up team was headed by Misbah (Captain); and the other players of the team were Shazil Ahmmed, M V Rufaid, Mugeer, Fahad, Safwan V K P, Shamir CA, Saad, Fariz, Sahad, Vishnu Das and Mahadir.

The match was planned and organized by Prof Shashank B S, sports coordinator of College of Aviation Studies.

Mohan Kumar, was the head referee for the football match. Prof Supriya Adiga, physical director of Srinivas University, city campus Pandeshwar, coordinated and supported the players.

Prof Pavithra Kumari, dean, College of Aviation Studies, Prof Kavyashri, course coordinator BBA Aviation Studies and all other faculties of College of Aviation Studies and Students from Aviation department supported the players.
