Mangaluru: Nazareth Central School Balmatta celebrates 'Children's Day'

Mangaluru, Nov 13: A day marking childhood was celebrated with fun and frolic at Nazareth School on November 13, 2021. It all began with a special school assembly wherein the teachers stepped in to the shoes of our students and conducted the entire assembly.

The programme was presided over by P A Hegde, the assistant commissioner of police, Mangaluru and also gave away the prizes to the winners of inter-class competitions. In his address he inspired the students first of all with his valuable presence as well as instilled courage and fortitude in their to go ahead in life. Sr Mariet D’Cunha, the principal of the school cheered up the children bestowing on them the warm wishes and blessings to mark the day.

The staff presented various cultural events which left a lasting impact on the students and made the day more special and entertaining.

Precilla welcomed the gathering, On behalf of all the students, Preksha of Grade 9 the head girl of the school expressed her gratitude for the spectacular performance by the teachers. The whole programme was compered by Nathalia Miranda and Lizzy Fernandes.

All the teaching and non teaching staff proved their mite through their well-planned awesome programme. The students enjoyed to the maximum every event with a beautiful smile on their faces and joy in their hearts.
