Pius Nagar Welfare Committee Kuwait holds annual family get-together

Kuwait, Oct 25: Pius Nagar Welfare Committee Kuwait (PWCK) organized its annual get-together for all its members, families and friends on October 21 and 22 at Kabd Chalet. This is the second overnight get-together organized by PWCK.

It was attended by a crowd of 70 people including children and guests. The get-together included games, entertainment, food and prizes which were enjoyed by all.

Get-together commenced on Thursday with a prayer led by general secretary Wilma Moras. President Praveen Menezes welcomed the gathering. Sunil and Wilma Menezes conducted many indoor games. Dj music for dance and games was played by Stenwil Menezes. All enjoyed the beautiful solo dance performed by Carol Lasrado, Jace D’Cunha, Sweedal Mendonca, duet dance by Reshal Quadras and Moira and the Konkani song by Vian and Valen Moras.

The games and dance went on and then dinner was served.

On the second day, all the members gathered again for breakfast. Thereafter the organizer conducted outdoor games played between 2 teams like straw fixing in hair, dodgeball, balloon games, dog and the bone, breaking the pot and tug of war.

After lunch, a housie-housie game was conducted. President Praveen Menezes distributed prizes and gifts to all winners and performers. Secretary Wilma Moras rendered the vote of thanks and thanked contributors, sponsors and those who worked hard towards making the get-together a successful one.

PWCK get-together contributors and sponsors were Denis Dsouza, Roshan Quadras, Navin Lasrado, Praveen Menezes, Sunil Menezes and Wilma Moras.

PWCK cultural secretary Sunil Menezes along with Wilma Menezes hosted the entire programme.
