Daijiworld Media Network – Jeddah (MS)

Jeddah, Oct 25: Ministry for Hajj and Umrah announced that the waiting period of 14 days for booking for Umrah ritual stands has been cancelled.

This information was shared with the media by chief planning and strategy officer of the ministry Dr Amr Al-Maddah. The operational capacity of the Grand Mosque for Umrah and prayer is increased by leaps and bounds due to the relaxation of preventive measures.

Dr Amr said that the condition of 14 days waiting period was made due to the circumstances prevailing at that time and now there is no need for the same.

Operations and capacity of both the Grand Mosque in Makkah and Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah were made return back to normal on October 16 by the ministry of interior as it eased the restrictions across the kingdom.
