Riyadh: Water, sanitation programme of KS relief in Yemen

Riyadh, Oct 19: Drinking water and environmental sanitation is provided to Hodeidah governorate of Yemen by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center.

The KS relief programme provided 301,000 liters of drinking water and 287,000 liters of non-potable water from September 30 to October 6. In addition, the KS relief programme also removed waste from temporary housing camps, working in 34 shifts, in order to make life better for 8400 residents of the area.

KS relief also delivered urgent aid to 12000 people in Sudan affected by flooding and torrential rain in the north Darfur state. 2000 food baskets were distributed to the affected people. This was part of the KS programme in helping the people of Sudan.
