Mangaluru: Bethany Educational Society felicitates Ruth Clare D'Silva

Mangaluru, Oct 16: Ruth Clare D’Silva, who secured the First All India Rank in Chartered Accountant Examination was felicitated by Sr Rose Celine, the President of Bethany Educational Society during its 73rd Annual General Body Meeting held on October 15, 2021, at Bethany Convent, Mangaluru.

Referring to the life of Mgr Raymond Mascarenhas, the founding visionary of Bethany Educational Society, Sr Rose Celine urged Ruth to be a champion of truth and justice. The citation read by Sr Lillis, the vice president spotlighted Ruth as a brand ambassador of Bethany Educational Society and a model for 75,000 students of various BES institutions.

It also illuminated Ruth’s multifaceted personality that unfolded year while at St Theresa School and the leadership that she exhibited as a house captain. Ruth gratefully recalled the solid initial formation received in the school, and the inspirational motto of the school, 'Bloom forth in love for love'.

Sr Mariette, the secretary and the other members of the council of management adorned the stage. 60 members of the general body were present on this occasion.
