Udupi: ‘In Congress, people speaking truth get show cause notices’ - Sunil Kumar

Daijiworld Media Network - Udupi (SP)

Udupi, Oct 14: The fact that the Congress party has dismissed and issued show cause notice to those who made allegations about KPCC president, Shivakumar, having been a collector of commission, shows the way that party treats the people who speak truth, said minister for energy, Kannada and culture, V Sunil Kumar.

Speaking to media persons here on Wednesday, he said that people who speak the truth get this treatment in the Congress, "None of us expected the Congress to behave like this. The Congress has been treating the Dalits in this way since long. It had behaved the same way when the houses of Dalit leaders were torched," he said.

Sunil felt that Shivakumar was expected to become alert and modify his ways. No one expected that notices would be issued, he explained.
