Mumbai, Oct 18: Vijayadashami celebrations were held throughout the day on Sunday October 17 at Ambika Annapoorneshwari temple, Saat Rasta, Mahalaxmi (East), here.
Varios religious rites were held simultaneously at the temple and at the parent temple in Sukadakatte, near Bajpe, Mangalore, on Sunday.
A large number of devotees including NCP leader Arun Gujarati, local MLA Sachin Ahire, politicians, and TV serial actors offered ‘puja’ to Goddess Ambika Annapoorneshwari on the occasion.
The donors K T Kunder and Gulabi K Kundar, temple managing trustee Narayan Poojary, Mahesh Poojary, Jayakar Shetty, and Pandit Navinchandra Sanil were present.
