Mumbai, Oct 8: Hiriadka Mohandas was elected the new president of metro-based Devadiga Sangh in the elections held during the 85th annual general body meeting at Devadiga Centre, Dadar (East), on Sunday October 3.
H Jaya Devadiga, Pushpa S Rao, Suresh R Devadiga, S S Rao, Sundar P Moily, Vasu S Devadiga, Vasudev T Devadiga, B P Suresh, Malati J Moily, Vishwanath B Devadiga, Satish Kanwateerta, Padmanabha A Devadiga, Srinivas P Karmaran, Umesh R Devadiga, Ramesh B Devadiga, Ranjani R Moily, Rukmini Y Devadiga, Krishna N Devadiga and Ravi N Devadiga were elected as members of the managing committee.
Joint secretary Sundar C Moily presented the annual report while joint treasurers Vishwanath B Devadiga and Padmanabha A Devadiga presented the annual accounts. Joint secretary Krishna N Serigar proposed the vote of thanks.
