Trade Fair in Mumbai to Bring Hong Kong Brands to India


Mumbai, Oct 7 (IANS) The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) will hold a Lifestyle Expo of high-quality products and brands in Mumbai later this month to build partnerships between Indian retailers and manufactures from Hong Kong and Guangdong province of China.

"Hong Kong is renowned as the design hub of Asia. Guangdong is wellknown for its manufacturing prowess. Together, they present a not-to-be missed sourcing opportunity for Indian buyers," said Loretta Wan, Regional Director, Southeast Asia and India, HKTDC.

The Expo will feature more than 160 suppliers across various product segments, including consumer electronics and electrical appliances, gifts and premiums, household products, and fashion and fashion accessories.

Organised in association with the Department of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation of Guangdong Province (GD-DOFTEC), it will be held at the Grand Hyatt Exhibition Ground, Santacruz.
