Riyadh: First group of female Saudi soldiers graduate

Riyadh, Sep 2: Completing 14 weeks of basic training, the first group of female soldiers of the Kingdom graduated from the Armed Forces Women’s Cadre Training Center on Wednesday, September 1.

Speaking on the occasion, head of the Armed Forces Education and Training Authority maj gen Adel Al Balawi said, “Excellent training programmes and curricula in an ideal learning environment will be provided by the center. This is on par with international quality standards that are on par for female recruits.

"This training will help in achieving the objectives of the ministry for the future of the kingdom by improving overall performance.”
