Workshop on Ghumott Playing on October 10

Margao, Oct 2: The Goa cultural and social centre, Panaji in collaboration with Kala Academy and Dalgado Konkani Academy, Panaji will organize a workshop on Ghumott playing for Mando on Sunday October 10 at 3 pm at Kala Academy's Black Box.

Ghumott, a percussion instrument, plays a key role in Mando. Even at the Ganesh Chaturthi festival prayers devotees in Goa widely use it.

Organizers of the workshop have asked the interested people to take part and to learn the techniques from well-known experts.
