Dubai: Delisha D'Souza wins 4 awards for being fastest to spell 1,000 words

Dubai, Aug 28: Delisha D'Souza, a miracle child has gained fame as she has won four awards for being the fastest to spell 1000 words corrreclty and continuously.

Delisha is the daughter of Maurice D'Souza and Deena Maurice D'Souza born on May 12, 2016. She is currently studying in KG 2 at GEMS Our Own Indian School, Dubai. She has a sister Marisha D'Souza.

At the age of four, Delisha started reading English storybooks and as she read more and more books she learnt the spellings of many words. While speaking to her, she would eventually reply by spelling the words for fun which went on for sometime. Noticing the exceptional talent at such a young age, her parents informed to her school teacher Namita Jolapara who suggested to showcase her talent through records for which she brought to herself four awards.

Delisha is fluent in reading English. She has other interests as well such as singing, dancing, keyboard, arts and crafts, drawing, science, math and much more.

Based on her interests, she has two YouTube channels.
