Kumuda K Alva conferred M Phil degree by Mumbai University

 Mumbai, Aug 23: Mumbai university Kannada department research student Kumuda K Alva has been conferred M Phil degree by Mumbai University for her Kannada thesis titled ‘Mukhavanigalu’.

Kumuda Alva had written the thesis under the guidance of Kannada department professor and head of the department Dr G N Upadhya.

 Kumuda is a B Com degree holder and has passed M A of the Mumbai University under first class. Her stories, poems, reviews and articles are published in newspapers. She has indulged in the service of Kannada as a teacher in the institute titled ‘Chinnara Bimba’ for the last several years. She has also worked as a teacher of the Kannada learning project of Mumbai University. She is a member of Bombay Bunts Association, Thane Bunts Association and Ghodbunder Kannada Sangha.
