Riyadh: KWAR to Hold Volleyball, Cricket Tourneys

Riyadh, Sep 27: Karavali Welfare Association Riyadh (KWAR) will hold KWAR Volleyball Tournament at Yamama Hotel Grounds, King Abdulaziz Street here on Thursday September 30 and Friday October 1.

Matches will be conducted as per the new rules. Point will be rally basic (25). First and second matches will be played best of three sets.  Semi-final and final will be best of five sets. Minimum four players should be from Karnataka (Kannadigas). Two players can be from any part of India. 

Totally, names of nine members should be registered before the toss. All teams should be in their uniforms.  Only the team captain and team manager can approach referee for any clarification.  The decision taken by the referee and organizing committee will be final. 

A registration or participation fee of SR 200 is to be paid before the match starts.  Winners and runners will be awarded with glittering Karavali trophy and cash prize at Karavali Parbha function on November 26.
 
Cricket tournament ‘Karavali Trophy 2010’ will be held in the month of October.
