Riyadh: Covid violations rise to 22,000 in one week in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, Aug 16: As per the statistics released by the ministry of interior, 22,158 violations of Covid 19 guidelines were recorded in one week. The authorities continuously monitor the situation to prevent any onset of rapid Covid infections.

While capital Riyadh had the most number of violations with 7,350 cases, Eastern Province recorded 3,329 cases. The number of cases reported in other provinces are Madinah (2,486), Makkah (1,951), Qassim (1,883), Hail (1,608), Jouf (1,360), the Northern Borders (735), Tabuk (468), Baha (350), Asir (281), Jazan (3-280) and Nazran (77).

The citizens were instructed by the authorities to follow the guidelines strictly. Scores of people are helped by the ministry of health in the various testing centres that are set up throughout the country. There are two types of covid testing centres named Tetamman (rest assured) and Taakad (make sure). Sehhaty app of the ministry can be used to get appointments in these clinics.
