Mumbai: Hour old baby girl dies after flunged from terrace

Mumbai, Aug 4: In a horrific case, a baby girl, an hour old was allegedly flung from the fifth floor terrace of a residential building in Virar on Tuesday morning, August 3.

The baby said to have landed in the compound of Tulip Star building, Yeshwant Nagar, Virar (W), much to the shock of passers-by around 11 am. People picked up the baby and rushed her to hospital where she was declared dead on admission.

The cause of death was severe head and shoulder injuries. A woman is being questioned interrogated.
