Guangzhou, Sep 19 (IANS): India's Sania Mirza and Romania's Edina Gallovits clinched the $220,000 Guangzhou International Women's Open tennis doubles title here Sunday.
Sania-Gallovits beat China's Xinyun Han and Wanting Liu 7-5, 6-3 and claimed $11,000 and 280 WTA points.
The two had stormed into the final with a 6-3, 6-0 victory over Ukrain's Olga Savchuk and Thailand's Tamarine Tanasugarn.
Sania had also reached the quarterfinals in the singles here.
