Mumbai, Jul 27: The police rescued four women after a sex racked was busted in Vasai in Palghar district on Monday, July 26.

Two persons were arrested including a transgender for forcing the four rescued into the flesh trade after they lost their jobs due to the lockdown, deputy commissioner of police (Zone II) Sanjay Kumar Patil said.

The raid on a chawl in the Khan compound of Pelhar on July 23 had also led to the seizure of Rs 2.53 lakh, a Valiv police station official said.
