Mumbai: Governor releases annual report of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Vaidyakiya Pratishthan

Mumbai (RBI), Jul 11: Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari released the annual report of the Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Vaidyakiya Pratishthan for the block year 2015-20 at Raj Bhavan, here, on Sunday July 11.

The foundation which runs Dr Hedgewar Rugnalaya at Aurangabad among various other medical institutions is a well-known service organization working in the area of medical service to the poor.

Anil Bhalerao, chairman of the foundation, Vinod Bhimrajka, vice chairman, Dr Anant Pandhare, medical director, Ramesh Tainwala, Sunil Kejriwal, Ravindra Sanghvi and members of the foundation were present.

In his address, the governor appreciated the extraordinary work of the Pratishthan in the medical field and advised the institution to ramp up its facilities to newer levels. He appealed to the resourceful people to come forward to work for ‘Antyodaya’ concept as guided by Deendayal Upadhyay.

Philanthropists supporting Dr Hedgewar Hospital were felicitated by the governor on the occasion.
