Bantwal: Collision involving tanker, ambulance, bike - Five suffer injuries

Bantwal, Jun 14: Five people suffered injuries and were admitted to hospital in an accident involving a tanker, ambulance and bike at Kudrebettu, near Kalladka on Monday, June 14.

The ambulance was carrying a patient from Madikeri to Mangaluru. Four persons that were in the ambulance have sustained injuries. One among the four is critically injured. Their identities are not known yet. An unidentified bike rider has also been injured in the mishap.

The injured have been admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru. Further details in this connection are awaited.

Melkar traffic police visited the spot of the accident and registered a case.

    Tankers .. Tippers and heavy loaded trucks have to be given a speed limit and be monitored coz most deadly accidents in mlore and ghat section are caused due to these heavy loaded trucks and tankers.. Either the drivers are drunk or overspending.. yet none to monitor them ...
