Mangaluru, Jun 14: City north police personnel arrested two people including an Omani national for possessing ganja and MDMA on Monday June 14.
The arrested are identified as Ahammed Mohammed Musafa Al Mahamani (34) from Oman and Ram (22) from Himachal Pradesh.
As much as 51 grams of ganja and 2 grams of MDMA was seized. A case under NDPS Act was filed against the duo.

Police commissioner N Shashi Kumar informed that Ahammed had visited Goa on a tourist visa. Due to health issues, he was undergoing physiotherapy treatment at a private hospital in Mangaluru. Ahammed was caught with Ram at Golden Plaza hotel.
“Ahammed will be booked under Passport Act as his passport has expired. We are investigating how the duo procured ganja and MDMA,” he said.
