Mangaluru: 840 LSD strips worth Rs 16.8 lac seized, one arrested

Mangaluru, Jun 11: Kadri police arrested one person and seized 840 LSD strips worth Rs 16,80,000.

The accused arrested is identified as Mohammed Ajinas (25) from Calicut, Kerala. LSD is a psychotropic drug. One strip of the same cost from Rs 2,000 to Rs 6,000.

Police commissioner N Shashi Kumar said that the accused used to supply the drug in Kerala, Goa and Mangaluru at parties and other consumers.

“It is a huge quantity and we believe there are sufficient consumers and peddlers for it. We will probe and nab all those involved into this," said the police commissioner.

A reward of Rs 10,000 was announced for the police team which cracked the case.

    Why in every crime this one particular community name appears all the time... People are tolerating this community from long... They are now literally spoiling the society and becoming dangerous to the whole city. Why is it happening with only one community.. What parents doing while grooming the childrens... It's scary because incidents are increasing and the whole community keeping quite... In fact it looks like parents and religious heads support these type of activities. .. Only God save this place
