Dubai: 74 firms fined for violating Covid-19 safety violations

Dubai, Jun 6: Authorities on Sunday carried out inspections across 1,376 establishments in the emirate and fined 74 firms for violating the laws of the emirate related to the pandemic.

Authorities warned three companies and one firm was shut down for not following precautionary measures.

Authorities said “Dubai Economy emphasises on the importance of following the precautionary measures and reporting any violation through the Dubai Consumer app.” Further it added teams will continue conducting inspections along with its various partners with a special focus on shopping malls and locations that might see overcrowding.
