Riyadh: Saudi Arabia ranks fifth in use of digital government

Riyadh, May 19: According to a study done by Accenture, Saudi Arabia stood fifth in the use of ‘Digital Government'.

This study refers to the continuous investments that are done by countries towards improving their digital governance.

Those who ranked high in the study have made considerable investments in this sector.

The government agenda is deeply embedded by the digital strategy that is followed by governments that are performing on the highest level, according to the study. This study involved the opinion of 5,000 people from various countries.

The study also revealed that most of the citizens of countries wanted their governments to provide more facilities online and also make use of social media in order to interact with the public.
