Nag Panchami Observed at Mahashesha Rundamalini Temple

Mumbai, Aug 14: The devotees gathered in large number to celebrate Nag Panchami at Mahashesha Rundamalini temple, popularly known as the Naga Kshetra at Powai here on Saturday August 14.

The rituals were carried out with great religious grandeur under the guidance of Dharmadarshi Suvarna Baba.

The Naga Kshetra which consists of Subramanya temple, a Naga bana and ten-headed Lord Naga has been celebrating the festival of Nag Panchami and Dasara among others from over five decades.

From 7.00 am onwards various rituals like Mahaganapati puja swasthi vachana, Navagraha Homa, Dikpala Homa, Ashta Dikpala Bali, Shikara Kumbabisheka, Panchamritha Abhisheka and Nagadarsshana were performed.

Entrepreneur Elinje Konjaluguttu Prabhakar Shetty, Surendra Heeranandani, Niranjan Heeranandani, Billavara Association’s women department president Jayanthi V Ullal, Bunt Sangha president Aikala Harish Shetty, Tunga Group Hotel’s Sudhakar S Hegde, police officuials Surendra Shetty and Gurudev Seva Balaga president,Advocate Kadandale Parari Prakash L Shetty amomg others paid visit to the temple and offered  pujas on the occasion.

The service volunteers led by Sevadala head of Billavara Association, Ganesh Poojary helped in  the smooth proceedings of day’s celebration at the temple. Social workers Keshava Anchan, Sudhakar Poojary, Ravi Kotian, Jagadeesh Suvarna and Rahul Suvarna among others strived for the success of programmes.
