Bengaluru, May 14: Karnataka on Friday, May 14 recorded 41,779 fresh coronavirus cases.
As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state rose to 5,98,605.
As many as 373 deaths due to coronavirus were reported on Friday. The total death toll so far has risen to 21,085.
On the other hand, Bengaluru Urban recorded 14,316 new cases and 121 deaths in a single day.
On Friday, 35,879 were discharged from the hospitals, taking the total discharges to 15,10,557.
So far, Karnataka has seen 21,30,267 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.
The positivity rate for the day stands at 32.86%, while the case fatality rate for the day is 0.89%
As many as 1,10,51,982 people have received vaccination so far.
