Udupi: Basavaraj Bommai sets up Covid Care Centre on premises of his residence

Udupi, May 13: Minister of state for home, law and parliamentary affairs, Basavaraj Bommai handed over 25 oxygen concentrators to Shiggaon public hospital that can help save the lives of Covid patients. A 50-bed hospital has been also inaugurated on the premises of his residence at Shiggaon.

“The number of Covid deaths is on the rise. Therefore additional beds have been arranged. Another 46-bed facility will be arranged at Shiggaon taluk hospital,” he said.

 

Medical officer Vivek Jainkeri, Udaya Lakshman Naik and Mahesh were present.

The minister has converted his house premises to Covid Care Centre and doctors have been appointed as well. Minister Bommai also visited the spot and inspected the facilities at the Centre.

    Vikas is only to convert your home ? Hope you'll soon inaugurate a hospital better than Gandhis/Nehru built. And, but still you've shown your kindness offering your own home while govt funds are gone in buying MLAs , what else you can do much ? Still I Salutee - with standards JUMLA sarkar is going anything is GREAT except JUMLA & ANDH BHAKTS , not just chest thumping JUMLA Baaz , hope your leader follow you and stop Grand new house , parliment , statue, stadium....atleast offer his home , why does fakir needs bigger house ?

    You people do not realise the real purpose of this. This is just to provide treatment to supporters of the ministers. All hospitals are full. When people approach politicians they are not able to show their face to them. Just to provide consolation to the public all this is being set up. Even in Udupi & Mangalore district, entire covid beds are managed by politicians. If u use influence of politicians u will get beds otherwise It is just impossible.

    Good initiative, Appreciated. This crises is created by our PM. Thousands of lives saved if our central government had any planning to spread Covid19 viruses. It's not time to rebuild party image. Damage is already done.

    Making money under the table 1000 crores and spending two crores from personal account doesn't go well with ethics. What is the achievement of BJP in all over India? Demobilisation, winning election, ram temple, erecting statues, CAA, GST implementation without full understanding the concept. All failure decision with 98% corruption.
