Mumbai: Transfer of encounter specialist Daya Nayak stayed

Mumbai, May 12: Daya Nayak, encounter fame police officer in Anti-Terrorist Squad of Mumbai has been transferred by the ministry of home affairs to Gondia Police station, Nagpur. But Nayak is at ease as the transfer is stayed.

Four police officers including Daya Nayak were transferred from Mumbai to other districts as per the official announcement from the office of the additional director general of police. Nayak was transferred to the sub-divisional office of caste certificate at Gondia.

Daya Nayak had killed more than 80 criminals during his service in the crime branch and had become famous. He is likely to continue in ATS department as per sources.
