Odiyoor Mutt Seer Urges People to Seek Spiritual Bliss

Mumbai, Aug 4: The eleventh annual day celebrations of Sri Gurudeva Seva Balaga – Maharastra Unit was held at Bunts Bhavan, Kurla (East), here recently. Swami Gurudevananda and Sadvi Matanandamayee also graced the occasion.

Bunts Sangh president Aikala Harish Shetty and Devadiga Sangh president K K Mohandas were the chief guests. All Cargo Global Logistics Limited managing director Sasikiran Shetty, Sahana Builders and Developers Limited managing director Sudhakar M Shetty were the guests of honour.

 

Swami Gurudevananda felicitated Suvasini Sundar Shetty, former executive president of Sri Vajramata Mahila Vikas Kendra – Maharastra Unit, Lingappa K Mendon, president of Sri Mahalaxmi Bhajan Mandal, Andheri (West) and Sundar L Shetty, proprietor of Hotel Ramdev, Sion, here.

Swami Gurudevananda also awarded cash prizes to top scorers of SSC, HSC among Tulu – Kannadiga students in the metro.

Swami Gurudev of Odiyoor Mutt, in his spiritual message to the gathering, said that spirituality if followed in chaos of daily living can bring bliss in families. He urged the people to value health and happiness than mere money in life.

He said unity in diversity can only be found in our country and added that it is owing to mutual trust and love, said Swami Gurudev.

The Balaga president lawyer Kadandale Parari Prakash L Shetty, vice-president Bolnaduguttu Chandrahas Rai, honorary chief secretary Prakash Shetty, joint secretaries Divakar Shetty and Damodar Shetty, treasurer Bhoja Shetty, joint treasurer Ravindra Shetty, Sri Vajramata Mahila Vikas Kendra – Maharastra Unit president Revati Vamayya Shetty, honorary chief secretary Chitra R Shetty and office-bearers were present.

Sri Gurudeva Seva Balaga president Prakash L Shetty welcomed the gathering.

Krishnaleele Kamsa Vadhe, Tulu Yakshagana play was staged by the members of Bunts Sangh women’s wing, which was directed by Sadanand Shetty Kateel as part of cultural programme.
