Apr 17: Covid spikes in Dakshina Kannada, 309 in single day; 1 death, Udupi records 118 cases

Mangaluru/Udupi, Apr 17: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 309 fresh coronavirus cases on Saturday raising the tally to 37,871. Out of these, 1,623 cases are currently active.

A total of 6,82,630 samples have been tested. Out of which 642,559 are negative.

As many as 99 people were discharged on Saturday, A total of 744 deaths have occurred so far.

Udupi

The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 26,588, including 118 fresh cases on Saturday. Out of these, 583 cases are currently active.

Over 4,62,441 samples have been tested so far.

As many as 126 patients were discharged on Saturday. A total of 193 deaths have occurred so far.

    The education minister as especially ashwath narayan is pretty adamant about conducting the state board exams , even after the spike . While the other ministers are not in sync with his decision. This sums up the whole karnataka govt , a delusional and confused govt.
