The specialty is that cement is not being used in order to make the structure last longer. The actual work of the Mandir will start in August 2021 and is expected to complete by 2023 according to Champath Rai, chief secretary of Ram Janmabhoomi trust, who has undertaken the responsibility of the construction. Gopal, leader of VHP, south India is looking after the works at Ayodhya.

Keshava Hegade, leader of VHP Karnataka says, "Ram Mandir will have to bear weight of lac of tonnes. What would be the weight of temples at Rameshwaram, Thanjavur and Madurai? We also have the intention of building a similar structure that will be strong."

I too have given my contribution for the construction of Ram mandhir in Ayodhya. My humble request is build a small temple with 5-10% of contributions. Rest of the money build orphanages, Hospitals, schools, this will have greater meaning than building a huge building to satisfy our Ego, lets find god in every beating heart and in prakriti, when we help the orphans/old/and treat them with dignity we have served Rama in them.

300 crores... I think we could educate or provide better facilities to thousands of Indians.... Nowadays all these temples, mosques and churches collect crores of funds.. actually, they get funds from all over the world... I don't understand why these religious heads use it in a better way... Even Lord Ram would be happy if so much amount be utilized for the betterment of human beings who are starving and dying without food and shelter.... Hope Lord Ram blesses those people who use it for the construction of the temple some good thought. Lord Ram has not asked for such a big temple construction... WE just need that land as a symbol of our religious belief. We believe in Ram and his Janam Bhoomi should be his... But not at this cost...
