Mumbai, Apr 13: Chembur Karnataka High School art teacher Sriram S Mahajan has become the beneficiary of this year’s IT Golden Globe award presented by the IT Globe award organization every year.

The award is presented to eligible persons of the arts and drawing sector. Specialist of diabetes Dr Sandeep Singh, Dr Dinesh Gupta and Dr Anita Gupta handed over the award to Sriram in a programme held at the Lalith Star Hotel auditorium, Mumbai on March 25.

Sriram is actively engaged in arts, Drawing and social work for the last two decades. He created future artists nurturing the talents of students and served society in whichever ways possible. He is identified as a Corona warrior by helping the needy during the pandemic.

Sriram guided students in the district, state and country level competitions in the last twenty years who won about two thousand prizes. IT Golden Globe selected more than 25 persons in India for their awards in 2021. They decided to present the award to Sriram considering his achievements and for holding the world record for having written Bhagavad-Gita in calligraphy.

Chembur Karnataka Sangha president, advocate H K Sudhaker and office bearers, Chembur Karnataka High School principal Dr Geetanjali Salian, Chembur High School teaching and nonteaching staff congratulated Sriram for his achievements.
