Bengaluru: Former MLA of Bhalki Prakash Khandre joins BJP

Bengaluru, Apr 11: Former MLA from Bhalki constituency in Bidar district Prakash Khandre joined BJP in the presence of BJP state party in-charge Arun Singh in Basavakalyan on Sunday.

Deputy chief minister and transport minister Laxman Savadi, home minister Basavaraj Bommai and housing minister V Somanna were present at the function.

Prakash Khandre was earlier MLA from BJP from Bhalki constituency. He was denied the party ticket in the last elections, following which he had joined JD(S).
