Amit Shah Surfaces, Says Allegations False

Ahmedabad, Jul 25 (IANS): Former Gujarat minister Amit Shah, who was missing after being charged with alleged involvement in the 2005 staged shootout of Sohrabuddin Sheikh, dramatically surfaced at a BJP press conference here Sunday and said he was being framed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

"All the allegations against me are politically motivated and fabricated. None of the allegations are true," said Shah.

Shah had tendered his resignation to Chief Minister Narendra Modi Saturday.

REGARDLESS OF ANY POLITICAL PARTY/ PARTY LEADERS, LET CBI-SUPREME COURT HANDLE THIS CASE & LET BJP COME CLEAN ON THIS FAKE ENCOUNTER CASE AS WELL AS ON GODHRA RIOT CASE. LAW IS LAW, AS I MENTIONED EARLIER, THIS IS A RIGHT TIME TO UPGRADE OUR JUDICIAL SYSTEM. LET SUPREME COURT SET-UP A SPEED-TRACK COURT SPECIALLY FOR THOSE INVOLVED/CONVICTED IN FAKE ENCOUNTER-TERRORISM-RAPE-MURDER-COMMUNAL VIOLENCE-LOOTING-FORGERY-SCAM. THE PUNISHMENT FOR THESE MUST BE LIFE-IMPRISONMENT OR CAPITAL PUNISHMENT DEPENDS ON NATURE OF CRIME. SO THAT IN FUTURE NO-ONE CAN THINK ABOUT COMMITING SUCH ACTIONS IN FUTURE. PRESENT LAW MUST SET AN EXAMPLE TO NEW GENERATION & THUS INDIA SHOULD BE FREE OF ALL THESE CRIMES. OUR FINAL GOAL SHOULD BE MERA BHARATH MAHAAN. LET WE GENERAL PEOPLE FINDOUT THESE CRIMES & WIPEOUT COMPLETELY FROM OUR COUNTRY.

    1) Amit shah claims he is not guilty. May be true or not true. No criminal confesses his guilt.

    2) Only courts can say a person is guilty or not guilty, why shah is hiding from law. That itself tells quantam about the person.

    3) Only CBI has the capacity to prevail over politicians. CBI has been directed to investigate none other than SC. BJP looks so funny that, they say all politicans are Gods, they never do crime. Any man on street will term politicians as most corrupt in India. So, protecting politicians -BJP has lost its own credibility.

    4) The only escape route for BJP is to discredit the institutions as politically motivated. Starting mining (reddy's), rape(halappa) many politicians are involved in illegal activities. This is to create confusion and optimize vote bank.

All indians want criminals to be inside jails and punished harshly.
Only anti-indians could say treat them in resorts.

If amith shah is innocent, why he was hiding for the last two days. He must face the law of the land and prove his innocence. BJP top brass was accusing ruling party of misusing CBI, where were these jaitleys, sushmas and others when supreme court directed CBI to pursue this case in January. Were they sleeping that time. Why crying foul now.. Let him face the law.
