Around 250 teachers of the discriminated teachers forum were arrested by the Porvorim Police for blocking the national highway during their protest in Porvorim. The teachers were protesting against the injustice done to them in the form of premature retirement.


The members of the Goa association of prematurely retired government employees seen during their massive protest morcha in the capital city. The employees were protesting against their premature retirement and demands that all the employees should be compensated for the service years they have lost.
