Abu Dhabi: Covid test mandatory for unvaccinated workers in five sectors

Abu Dhabi, Mar 23: The UAE has made it mandatory for employees in five sectors across the emirates to take a Covid PCR test every 14 days.

The five sectors include- hotels, restaurants, transportation, and health, as well as social and personal activities such as laundries, beauty salons, and hairdressers.

However, the employees who are vaccinated against Covid are exempted.

The UAE's ministry of human resources and emiratisation has called on establishments, companies, and institutions operating in the five economic sectors to get their workers to take the test. The new rule is effective from March 28.
