Abu Dhabi: 12 destinations make it to green list, quarantine free travel

Abu Dhabi, Mar 22: An updated list of ‘green list’ countries was issued by the department of culture and tourism Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi). Passengers arriving from these countries will be exempt from mandatory quarantine measures after landing in Abu Dhabi and will only be required to undergo PCR test at the airport.

The ‘green list’ will be regularly updated based on international development on Covid-19 situations, the department said. The criteria of inclusion in the list is ubject to strict criteria of health and safety to ensure the well-being of the UAE community.

The list only applies to countries passengers are arriving from rather than citizenship. The countries added in the updated list are - Australia, Bhutan, Brunei, China, Greenland, Hong Kong, (SAR), Iceland, Mauritius, Morocco, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, and Singapore.
