Mangaluru: Leadership development programme held at Shree Devi Institute of Technology

Mangaluru, Mar 20: Shree Devi Institute of Technology organized a Leadership Development Programme for the final degree students of Shree Durga Parameshwari Temple First Grade College Kateel.

Subhash Bangera was the chief guest.

Subhash Bangera in his inaugural address he highlighted the intentions of the Government of India to become a five-trillion economy which is rightly supported by various schemes like Make in India, Skill India and Digital India etc where students need to make use of all the schemes and need to come out with innovative ideas of entrepreneurship. He in his training iterated the significance of the contribution of students to the country. The major challenge of entrepreneurship is fear. Fear of parents, fear of peer, fear of society, fear of success, fear of failure etc which even he had during his initial days of entrepreneurship which he came out of with positive intentions. He also pointed out that it is common to have fear, but with continuous hard work, sincerity, ethics and the right decisions anyone can be successful. He said that students are the future of this country and all students should take initiatives to be successful in future.

Dr Krishna Kanchan, principal of SDPT College, Kateel motivated the students for active participation, Dr Dilip Kumar K, principal of Shree Devi Institute of Technology welcomed the gathering, Dr K E Prakash, director of Shree Devi Institute of Technology was the president, Dr Gayathri B J, HoD of MBA department and Professor Gayathri Shetty, convenor was present.

In the valedictory programme students were given certificates as a token of appreciation.
