Saina Climbs One Spot to Become World No 2


New Delhi, July 15 (IANS) India's Saina Nehwal has jumped one spot to World No.2 in the badminton rankings released Thursday.

Saina, who pipped Xin Wang of China, is now behind top-ranked Chinese Yihan Wang.

The Indian recently won three back-to-back tournaments, including two Super Series titles.

She won the Indian Open Grand Prix, Singapore Open and Indonesian Open.

China's Shixian Wang and Denmark's Tine Baun are number World No. 4 and 5 respectively.
