Qatar, Jul 8:  In view of expanding the activities of Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF) for outreaching the larger portion of the Indian community, the requirement of additional work forces was felt by the present managing committee and Indian Embassy and accordingly the various task forces have been formed.

These task forces have been constituted keeping in mind the present shortcomings as well as to strengthen the mode of assistances and services required for the larger portion of the community. Hence Seven (7) task forces are formed as indicated below by inducting the community members to cater for the additional needs for benefit of the underprivileged members of the Indian community.

Medical Camp and Hospital Visit   

To conduct the free medical camp by In house volunteers at various parts of Qatar at every  quarter,to regularly visit Hamad and Rumaillah hospital every fortnightly to identify patients who needs special assistances as well as to provide necessary assistance for prompt repatriation to back home in India.
 
Death Cases and Compensation

To assist any Indian for transportation of the mortal remains from Qatar, to guide any Indian relating to the formalities required against any death case and prepare proper road map for every ones awareness  and to follow up for claiming the outstanding compensation against death cases and provide necessary assistances to the  Indian Embassy.

Legal Assistance

To provide legal guidance to workers on regular basis, to assist Indian  embassy on legal matters relating to the workers issue ,to follow up  legal cases in labour department and Labour court

Awareness Creation

To approach labour camps at various parts of Qatar and inform their  camp boss about the services being given by ICBF as awareness about the services by the ICBF  are still unknown to most of those workers, communication to Indian community about any relevant information   thru structured road map, awareness about ICBF activities to the Indian community on regular basis .

Benevolent Protection

To liaison with insurance companies of India for inducting proper insurance schemes for overseas workers against natural and accidental death in line with Prabashi Bima Yojna, to enroll the local workers under a proper insurance schemes to cover any eventualities while they are at Doha,to administer those insurance schemes for the workers on regular basis

Medical Hospitalization

To provide in house assistances and regular support in the hospital to the needy patient by group of Hamad Hospital doctors and paramedical staffs

Fisherman Welfare

To assist the fisherman of Wakrah and Al khor / Al Ruis area in various forms,  to liaison with embassy regarding supports to be given to the fisherman against any illegal entry of boat within Qatar territory, to liaison with local authority for assisting to those arrested fisherman during such incident .

These task forces will be working along with ICBF managing committee and every task force will be coordinated by one dedicated managing committee member.
