Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SB)

Mangaluru, Mar 3: Generosity coupled with love and prayers takes humanity to a whole new level. Daijiworld readers have proved the case yet again by helping Thanish and his family.

Last month, Daijiworld had published a heart wrenching story of eight-year-old Thanish N Gatty, a resident of Kankanady, suffering from hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH). Responding quickly, the readers have showed their benevolence by helping Thanish.

Around Rs eight lac was contributed to Thanish’s family, who were struggling to make ends meet for his treatment expenses. Now Thanish is shifted to Bengaluru for specialized treatment and doctors have given all guarantee to cure the disease.

Initially, Thanish developed fever, after which he was taken to hospital. There he underwent various tests and the doctor gave him medicines for his condition as the tests revealed some health issues. Later, he was shifted to another private hospital for specialized tests. After undergoing more tests, he was admitted to the ICU twice. Later, he was shifted to KMC hospital in Mangaluru. The doctor there advised a bone marrow transplant as a permanent solution.

“We are thankful to all Daijiworld readers for their generosity and kindness. Their contribution helped us to take Thanish to Bengaluru for further treatment. We believe that God came to rescue my child in the form of readers. Our sincere thanks to all who helped us after reading my son’s story. We will keep you all in my daily prayers,” says Naveen, father of Thanish.

We at Daijiworld, once again extend our gratitude to our readers who have supported a good cause, financially and through prayers. We thank our generous readers who have time and again supported the needy and given them a new lease of life. Your steady support helps Daijiworld to keep up the spirit of humanity high.

I am overwhelmed with the generosity and gesture of the Daijiworld readers for contributing their mite in order to mobilise fund of Rs 8 lakhs for Thanish's medical expenses. Humanity still alive and not dead completely. Daijiworld has been doing such humanitarian works for the economically distressed, oppressed sections of the society deprived of their basic rights by publishing the news in their portal for the past several years in order to raise the required fund.Response from the readers also very quick and positive I have been observing for quite many years that like minded people with human heart respond to the advertisement very quickly and thereby Daijiworld could help the deserved. There is one saying that "Hallu Irabekadare,Kadale illa,Kadale ira bekadare Hasllu illa".Moral of the saying is that those who want to contribute/donate,do not have the enough money and those who have enough money,do not have the heart.I am the one among them. But my prayer is the only contribution/donation for the sick, diseased and people who are undergoing medical treatment for the speedy recovery.
