Udupi, Mar 3: Nestled in the heart of nature and away from city discordance, Trinity Central School Perampalli, has been on a journey that has served as an inspiration for all. In its 12th year now, the school has gone from strength to strength, ever since its humble beginnings in 2009.
Under the management of Capuchin Friars Minor Society, and affiliated to the ICSE Board, New Delhi, the school lives by its motto – Enlightenment through Knowledge. Trinity Central School has achieved meritorious laurels not just in the field of education, but also in its other co-curricular activities.
Academic Environment
Having embarked on a journey with an initial strength of just 47 students, today, the school is proud to have accomplished the 1,000 bench strength in the current academic year. ‘Ohana means family’. The Trinity family is a melting pot of Indian diversity; irrespective of caste, creed or religion. Students are made to feel at home under the watchful, kind eyes of the principal, the motherly warmth of the teachers and the care of the non-teaching staff. The vast, flourishing green campus like a quiet morning meditation, imparts an inspiring, holistic and warm sense of being when at school.
Academics
With a 35:1 student-teacher ratio, each child is given personal, undivided attention, so as to help them discover their potential and strength. Remedial classes are conducted for students’ who require more guidance and practice. Rote learning is not encouraged, as the students are emboldened to how to think out-of-box, and to apply their creative potential in practicality.
A school’s innate strength is magnified, in the exemplary academic performance of their students. The school holds the privileged distinction of having secured 100% results in the ICSE Board Examinations for six consecutive years.

Staff
Teaching staff: The teachers of the school are qualified and well versed in their subject expertise. Devoted to their vocation, talented and equally competent, all teachers have ample years of educational experience under their belt.
Counsellor: At times, knowing or understanding student’s emotional needs is a Herculean task. As their agony aunt, the school’s counsellor dedicates her expertise as she listens, comprehends and advises the students’ accordingly, on how to overcome their personal adversities.
Non-teaching & Ancillary staff: The non-teaching/ancillary staff of the school take utmost care of the students’ needs, and work tirelessly in keeping the campus neat and presentable at all hours.
Infrastructure
Classrooms: All class rooms are airy, spaciously designed and well ventilated; and equipped with Smartboards for e-learning purposes.
Laboratories: The school has well-resourced Science laboratories with the latest equipment. All computers in the Computer Laboratory are installed with the latest software, which are upgraded on a regular basis.
Library: With over 1,000 books ranging from encyclopaedias to reference books, fiction and non-fiction stories and autobiographies, the school library is powerhouse of knowledge for the voracious reader.
Sports: The school has a vast playground, including a basketball and badminton court, and is host to all major sporting and school events. The tiny tots spend their fun time at the colourful Assisi Kids Play park. For the holistic development of their physical, mental and emotional well-being, all students are encouraged to practise silent meditation before the start of the school day.
Auditoriums: School assemblies, seminars, competitions, festive celebrations and other events are held in the Trinitorium (indoor stadium) and roof top auditorium.
Activities
Learning is more than just paper, pencil and books. The school invests in developing the personality and talents of students by conducting various extra-curricular activities that assists them in developing their mental, cognitive and physical endurance skills. Activities like Abacus, Karate, Swimming, Art, Taekwondo, Skating, Dramatics, Western and Classical Music, Western and Classical Dance, Keyboard and Guitar, Robotics, etc. are offered to the students.

Transport: The school offers a safe and convenient travel for students and staff, across its fleet of 16 school buses driven by experienced drivers.
Mid-day Meal: Hot, nutritious vegetarian meals are served to the students and staff, which are prepared in the school kitchen itself, maintaining safe hygiene protocols.
