Udupi: Mini project development workshop held at St Mary's College Shirva

Udupi, Mar 1: Today the modern world is completely digitalized. The development of technology has led to the invention of new ideas, better amenities and luxurious lifestyles. Many achievements connected to the internet have changed the way of life and the learning of such technology helps to enhance the research spirit among students said resource person, Raghavendra S.

A workshop was held at the Fr Henry Castelino auditorium of St Mary's College Shirva on March 1 and 2 in accordance with the memorandum of understanding of Sri Madhvadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, Bantakal and St Mary's College, Shirva to provide free training and campus placement related information to the final year BCA students of the college.

Sahana, the resource person from Bantakal College said that every aspect of our lives is related in one or the other way. There is no doubt that technology has been responsible for creating incredibly useful resources every year.

The president of the programme, Dr Herald Ivan Monis, principal of St Mary’s College said that the workshop will help the students understand the latest technologies in the IT industry and help them to develop advanced technology in the future.

Lieutenant K Praveen Kumar, head of the Computer Science department stressed the main objective of this workshop namely, to expose quality equipment and enterprise projects.

Unnat Bharat Abhiyan coordinator, Sarathkumar, lecturers Prakash, Sushma, Divyashree, students of all the Computer Science departments, teaching and non-teaching members were present. Priyanka II BCA proposed the vote of thanks, Priyanka and the team of II BCA rendered the prayer service. Sristi of II BCA welcomed and introduced the chief guest and the resource person. Faiza Bhanu of I BCA compered the workshop.
