Mangaluru/Udupi, Feb 27: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 21 fresh coronavirus cases on Saturday raising the tally to 34,417. Out of these, 202 cases are currently active.
A total of 5,66,164 samples have been tested. Out of which 5,31,747 are negative. As many as 26 people were discharged on Saturday, A total of 740 deaths have occurred so far.
Over 34,573 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 35,64,710 in fines have been collected by the authorities.
Udupi
The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 23,595, including 18 fresh cases on Saturday. Out of these, 69 cases are currently active.
Over 3,65,904 samples have been tested so far, of which 3,42,309 have turned out negative.
As many as 9 patients were discharged on Saturday. A total of 190 deaths have occurred so far.
