Mangaluru: Luxury car sale case - Two police officers suspended

Mangaluru, Feb 27: Two police officers on Saturday February 27, were suspended for allegedly selling a luxury car seized from an accused in a case.

The suspended cops are identified as former sub-inspector of CCB Kabalraj (presently working as sub-inspector in Chikkamagaluru) and Economic and Narcotic Offences police station Inspector Ramkrishna.

It is learnt that the accused allegedly involved in selling the luxury car without handing it over to the police department, after confiscating it from the accused.

In this case, a preliminary probe was conducted by deputy commissioner of police, Vinay Gaonkar.
