Mumbai: Dharavi slum sees rise in Covid-19 cases

Mumbai, Feb 27: The slum-clusters of Dharavi reported 16 more cases of coronavirus on Friday, February 26. Compared to previous days where cases have always been below ten, it has witnessed a substantial rise.

In the locality, there are currently 51 active cases, a BMC official reported. Dharavi slum has so far reported 3,699 recoveries.

Mumbai G/North ward on Friday reported 44 fresh Covid cases taking its total tally to 14,129. The ward includes Dharavi, Dadar and Mahim. There are 333 active cases in the ward while 13,160 people have been discharged so far.
