Mangaluru/Udupi, Feb 26: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 24 fresh coronavirus cases on Friday raising the tally to 34,374. Out of these, 205 cases are currently active.
A total of 5,64,535 samples have been tested. Out of which 5,28,738 are negative.
As many as 22 people were discharged on Friday, A total of 740 deaths have occurred so far.
Over 34,931 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 35,46,010 in fines have been collected by the authorities.
Udupi
The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 23,577, including 8 fresh cases on Friday. Out of these, 60 cases are currently active.
Over 3,64,639 samples have been tested so far, of which 3,41,062 have turned out negative.
As many as 11 patients were discharged on Friday. A total of 190 deaths have occurred so far.
