Mangaluru/Udupi, Feb 20: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 17 fresh coronavirus cases on Saturday raising the tally to 34,303. Out of these, 237 cases are currently active.
A total of 5,54,582 samples have been tested. Out of which 5,20,279 are negative.
As many as 20 people were discharged on Saturday. A total of 740 deaths have occurred so far.
Over 33,274 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 34,39,290 in fines have been collected by the authorities.
Udupi
The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 23,514, including 16 fresh cases on Saturday. Out of these, 47 cases are currently active.
Over 3,56,668 samples have been tested so far, of which 3,33,154 have turned out negative.
As many as 15 patients were discharged on Saturday. A total of 189 deaths have occurred so far
